The York Priory was established in 1930 and was previously known as The Priory Hotel. It has been owned and run by the Jackson family for 3 generations and has undergone a full refurbishment over the last 5 years and completed in January 2010. It is always remembered fondly by customers for the Twin Gothic Arches in the gardens, an original `Victorian Folly'
The guesthouse could not be better located for the city centre, the historic attractions and a wonderful selection of 1st class restaurants, which are all within walking distance. It's an ideal base for an overnight stay or a longer, more relaxing break. One thing you can be sure of, there's always a warm and friendly welcome from Liz, Russ and the team.
